Legacy is a 43’ Soverel design fiberglass hull racing yacht with a cored deck and 3-spreader mast. She was built by Formula III Marine in Chaguaramas between1983-84. Legacy has been TTYA boat of the year multiple times and achieved victories throughout the Caribbean. Her achievements are recognized by the race marks named after Legacy in Trinidad, Antigua, Barbados and Grenada.
SUCCESS ON THE WATER
Reginald and his crew were 2007/08 TTSA Boat of the Year champions (Titan and Titan M) and consecutive winners of the Barbados, Mt Gay Regatta (2011, 2012) and the Bequia Round the Island race (2013) aboard Legacy. The team recently placed second in class at the Antigua Race Week 2014. 120 sailors from over 20 families have crewed Williams’ sailboats to success over the decades. Many started in their early teens and have gone on to successful careers in the marine and energy industries.
